Well, I checked out the "demo" of TinyBooks Pro and decided it was not the accounting program for me. I really wanted it to be, though. At $79, you can't beat that. And that's one time, not a yearly subscription. I liked its simplicity, and someday I may have a use for it, but today is not that day.
I will say that Ken at TBP did show me a good "trick" for emailing anything that would normally be printed on a Mac (that's the "trick" in the above post). And he was quick with responding to my questions throughout the day today.
However, any other suggestions for economical Mac-based accounting software are welcome at this point...besides QuickBooks, of course.
