TOPIC: Windows based tablets

Re: Windows based tablets 12 years 2 months ago #49906

In technology you always run behind the train. I'm sure the cost for Windows RT will be higher than Windows7. That means that new tablets will cost more as well. So as usual the question is cost versus benefits.

Yeah hard drive size isn't a huge deal. Make sure you have at least 50 gigs and you'll have plenty.

The Windows RT devices coming out are supposed to start around $300 to $500 but we don't know what the specifications are going to be.

Very true. I definitely don't want to pay for extra bells and whistles that will not be of any use to me.

HP Slate 2 comes with either 32 GB or 64GB. There is nothing in between. On the other hand if Windows RT devices will be priced lower or even in the same price range, it may be worth to wait.

32gb will work fine. Just don't go loading lots of other programs on it.

Im still with my old IBM Thinkpad Tablet. Fortunately the summer has been busy and I haven't made any Hardware changes. Sorry Im such a slacker Dominic, but yesterday I finally viewed your Andriod Mobile video,  which I really liked.  I really wanted to see your Presentation in Chicago, however, I ended up being scheduled all day.
