TOPIC: CTL2go pcnl3

I'm going to order the new NL3 and would like advice on upgrades to their standard package. I'm thinking i will need spare battery, stylus,AC charging adapter, and windows 7 home premium. The unit comes with 2GB Ram DDR3. Should i upgrade too 4GB? The unit comes standard with 160GB 5400RPM SATA hard Drive. Should I upgrade too 250GB, or perhaps to 320GB. Have I missed anything? Any and all advice will be appreciated

Go for the 4 gigs. You don't need more than 160gb HD, so stick with that.

I just ordered the NL3 with the 4 gig upgrade and 320 gig hard drive direct through CTL. I Received an email the next day that they are on back order. I challenged them asking why am I paying more to order through them when I could of ordered through a third party for cheaper and receive it the same time. I received a 65.00 credit. I didnt order the upgraded windows 7 with windows 8 coming out. Hopefully HIP runs on windows starter.

The basic windows does not have handwriting recognition you may want to consider an upgrade

It will run on Windows Starter but you have to use their handwriting software rather than the Windows built in version (which I like a little better).
