I cant wait to hear what you have to say about that lil sucker.  I'm starting to lean towards getting it because it runs windows.  That way I can still run some of my other software on it.  But I wish it had a longer battery life.

5 hours is plenty. I got a raving review from Steve DeGuilio on it today. He promised to come on here and review it, now I just need to make sure he does

John the 5 hour battery life is what closed the deal for me, I was using a mini note book 2hours and 15 minutes max plus no touch screen. I was better off with a check list in hand. I hope they send mine soon I am suspecting they are on back order as well as I did not receive a tracking number from the vendor.

Louie, there is another unit that Dom is waiting on to test out that has a 10 hour battery life.  But it doesn't run Microsoft. 

Dom, I guess my concern is two fold.  1)  Is that 5 hour battery life, really 5 hours?  Is that idle time or constant use time?  2)  If I get to the point where I can do multiple inspections in a day, how long does it take to charge?  You have to remember, I spend 3 hours on a typical inspection then another 3 on the report. 

I have just finished two new templates that I hope will work great on one of these computers and also shorten my report time at the same time.  I will be uploading them to the forum here in the next couple of days to get everyone's opinions of them.

I think 5 hours is more than you need that is good battery life. John you can also buy a power adapter for your inspection vehicle and charge on the way and travel time from inspection to the next.
John so it takes you 6 hours to do a report?

Inspection and report  3 hours each total is 6 hours.  Give or take.
