Dom it makes a big difference thanks I will take it outside today and try it out, that day in the desert was just hot and bright no shade sun reflecting of the structure & block wall  and no shade out there. It worked fine the next day in Anaheim not as bright and they had shade there. I am learning all the features and short cuts on it once I feel more versed in it's operation I will post a complete review here with more Images.

Thanks Dominic! I loaded the septic templates to my laptop and desktop. Please excuse me, when starting new software I seem to want to be up to speed fast because the clients are waiting. I have done tutorials and practiced with HIP the last 3 days. It is the most user friendly software I have used. I am looking forward to my first real HIP inspection today and 5 more by Tuesday. Thank you for creating software that is truly meant to simplify our tasks!

Thanks Jim. Let me know if you have any questions. 5 inspections in the next few days will definitely throw you into things quickly! Make sure to save your inspection and template. I recommend for the first few jobs to save inspection as a few names in case you make a mistake you want to undo (i.e. inspection1, inspection1a...). We try hard to make it the best software out there but it's the constant user feedback we get via phone, email and this message board that helps it be so great. We discuss new features with our users and prioritize them in the priority that inspectors want.

I am trying to insert company logo into the template. I converted to jpeg, png, and gif from tif and I am still getting "invalid file format"
Any suggestions?
Doing my first in template convinced me to switch to template 2 for the next 4.

Hi Jim,

I updated the last version to prevent users from trying to override the system and load Word documents and it looks like I restricted it too much! The problem was the file extensions were in capital letters and the program was only accepting lowercase, i.e. .jpg. I've made a fix in the next version to fix the issue.

Hey Dom are the ASUS T91 obsolete now?  I have started looking around and the two main online PC stores that I go to don't carry this computer anymore.

Is this PC being replaced by a newer model or something?
