TOPIC: Email Marketing

I didn't see one on their forms.  You're thinking if I take my current page, erase the content and embed their sign up form w/ my current CAPTCHA at the bottom, it'd work...my head hurts...

Actually you'd need a form that said click continue, then they got forwarded to the real form. Yeah, interesting. Email them and ask if they have CAPTCHA.

Here's the response I got last night:

"We don't use captcha because we require double opt-in.  Meaning the user signs up then they will get an email and have to click a link to authorize or give permission.  You can add custom code to our forms so if you wanted to take it a step further you're more than welcome to add the code.  Hope that helps.  Any further questions let us know."

That works. It means you won't get junk added to your list. I still know nothing of mailchimp so I can't recommend them like I can iContact or ConstantContact

Well, I'll give it a try.  If it works out, then great.  If not, it was free so nothing harmed.   

If you use constant contact or some other simular company you will save your own email address from getting "junked", a news letter monthly is vey successful.
