Just before leaving for dinner I loaded it up and when I tried to open HIP, it gave me an error about not loading the "java something" and it wouldn't load.

Any thoughts about what to do when I get back to the computer tonight?

Okay guys. I expect some HEAVY testing of HIP 2.9.2 tonight to let me know if this works for you. Once I hear back to you I'll move it up to the official beta section.

New Feature: When selecting multiple comments and moving to Red/Black you can now 'merge' multiple comments into one. This is useful for combining mutiple narratives into one and serves as a similar feature to Lists. If you select a few comments, hold CTRL and click Black/Red the comments selected will be merged into one, but separated by a comma in the black/red area. If you hold the SHIFT key then a period will separate them. If you hold ALT then there will only be a space.

Design Change: Allow blank comments within lists.

Design Change: How memory is allocated to Home Inspector Pro has been changed. This should cause a performance boost on some systems.

Try restarting the computer, then download the file, open and run.

If you still have trouble update the version of Java you have.

I think you will love this new feature.

Cameron, what David said More than likely you just have HIP open when updating, run it again.

Serge, glad you like it! If enough people will use it maybe I can add something under the Red>>> Black>>> buttons to make this even more tablet friendly.

Hmmm...  it's giving me a "Could not create the Java virtual machine" error.

I didn't have HIP open, but I did have Turbo Tax open.  I've restarted, java was already updated, I've uninstalled (after making a copy of the HIP folder with my docs, footer, etc.), but even a new copy on the machine isn't working.  Maybe I've damaged java somehow.

That's interesting! That's the reason I changed how HIP was handling free system memory. I had the first guy in 6 years to have that error last week and the change I made fixed it for him. Looks like it could cause other people to have an issue so I'll change it back. Are you using XP SP3 by any chance? Give me a few minutes to cook up an update.
